Effective Grace

1 Corinthians 15:10 - "But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace comes from our of God that was with me." All of us want to be effective. Effectiveness is the result of God's grace. Paul realized that who he was, and what was accomplished through him was not through his personal efforts but rather through the grace that was in him and on him. Our doing comes from our being. What we do is determined by who we are. We must recognize the role of God's grace in our lives.Grace gives us our identity - confirms who we are and whose we are. This knowledge then determines what we do. Our lives then become effective because God's grace is constantly at work in us accomplishing all that God wants to do through our lives.
