Having received salvation by grace through faith, we no longer live under the law, but rather, under grace. Romans 6:13,14 (NLT) - "Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God. Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace." Romans 6:14 (NIV) - "For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace." Living under law provokes the flesh to think and act out sin. Living under grace promotes freedom to live for God's glory. Not everyone under stands this, or rather, stands under this principle. Stand under the freedom of God's grace and you will see that your affections will be on things above and not on things of this world. Christianity is not about requirements of law, but about freedom in grace.! Live free! Grace and Peace.
