Praise God! Jesus Is Risen!

Today, Easter Sunday, we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus from the dead! Because he has risen, we have hope, we can face the past, the present and the future, all fear is gone - because he lives! 1 Peter 1:3 (NIV) declares - "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead..." We praise God for the Gospel (Good News), the death of Jesus on the cross for our sins, his burial in a borrowed garden tomb, and his resurrection from the dead on the third day. That is the reason we enjoy the forgiveness of our sins, a new life, a new hope, - all made possible by Jesus' triumph over death. We live because He lives! Praise God today and forevermore!
