Encourage One Another

1 Thessalonian 5:11 (NIV) - "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing." Hebrews 10:25 (NIV) - "Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching." These days especially, people need to hear encouraging words. Words that inspire, build up, motivate, and strengthen those around us. Encouragement is that which serves to incite, support, promote, increase confidence, and give incentive. People facing the daily grind often get drained of energy, and begin to lose heart and courage. The need a 'boost' in the same way that a battery that has been drained needs to be jumped and recharged. Our words of encouragement can restore and give renewed life to those who are despondent and discouraged. Let us speak encouraging words daily to those who are in need of them.
