One Hope

There are seven essential things that unite us in the Spirit. There are many things that are non-essential on which we can have different opinions. But, all of us how have placed our faith in Jesus Christ share one hope. Ephesians 4:4-6 (NIV) - "There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope when you were called— one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all." We all embrace the same hope! It unites us. We have been adopted into God's family as His sons and daughters, have a new spiritual DNA and are a new creation in Christ Jesus. We will be glorified together with Him. It is this hope that inspires and motivates us to live the Christian life. John says that everyone who has this hope lives pure as He is pure.
