Hope Deferred...

Proverbs 13:12 (NIV) - "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life." When you hope for something, you await it's fulfillment with excitement and anticipation. When it does not happen in the time you expect, - the disappointment can make your heart sick. It can take an emotional and even physical toll on you. Having to wait can make your hope diminish and deplete your faith and resolve. On the other hand, it is so exciting when what you hope for is realized. A hope that comes into fruition can refresh, re energize, and revitalize. It is life-giving and life-sustaining. Give your hopes, dreams, and desires to your loving Heavenly Father. Don't become discouraged if the fulfillment takes longer than you would like. God has His own timing and wisdom. He will answer in His time. Wait on the Lord, keep hope alive!
